Family Solicitor

My client is searching for a Family Solicitor to join their Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire Offices.

Responsibilities

1. Mixed case load of Private and Legal aid.
2. Divorce and children proceedings.
3. Ability to undertake a full case load independently including using the HMCTS Portal (with admin assistance).

Experience

1. Qualified Fee-earner (either Solicitor or Chartered Legal Exec.)
2. 2 years + PQE
3. A background in Children/Family Law, advocacy, and negotiation.
4. Experience of Children Law, private and public family law including Care.
5. Experience of Ancillary Relief matters.
6. Strong communication and technical skills.
7. Ability to exhibit a flexible approach to their work.
8. The candidate should have the ability to provide guidance and coaching to members of the team.
9. Excellent personal organisation and the ability to adhere to strict time limits, prioritising work when necessary.
10. Ability to provide the highest standards of client care in line with the firm's Law culture and ethos.

Desirable skills

1. Children Law/Family Law Accredited.
2. My client will support the right candidate who is working towards the above.
