Job description

Job Title: Family Solicitor
Salary Range: £35,000 to £50,000
Location: Huddersfield
Contract: Full or Part Time, Permanent

Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:
  1. Represent clients in mediations & court proceedings, related to matrimonial & finance cases.
  2. Provide legal advice to clients and ensure that they are informed of their rights and obligations throughout the legal process.
  3. Manage a varied caseload of private family law cases, from initial instructions through to court hearings, and ensure that deadlines and court timetables are met.
  4. Prepare legal documentation and attend court hearings on behalf of clients, presenting their case and arguing their position.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all cases and ensure that client files are managed efficiently and securely.
