Job description

We are pleased to be working with our client seeking a Family Solicitor based in St Neots for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is an award-winning law firm with Lexcel accreditation and recognition from the Law Society.

Responsibilities of the Family Solicitor
  • Manage a varied caseload of family law matters.
  • Work on Private Law, children, divorce and financial matters cases.
  • Networking and promotion of business through social media and events.
  • Resolve client claims handling settlements or preparing for court.
  • Draft, negotiate and review court documents.
  • Undertake own advocacy.
Requirements for a successful Family Solicitor
  • 5-10 years post qualification experience within family law.
  • Proven expertise in Private Law, children, divorce and financial matters.
  • Accreditation in Family Mediation including MIAMs.
  • Excellent commercial awareness with a thorough understanding of the legal market.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Strong IT skills with proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Highly organised and willing to undertake own advocacy.
  • Commercially minded and forward thinker.
