Family Paralegal

AJ Chambers are recruiting a Family Paralegal for a Boutique Law Firm In the City of London.

Duties

1. Assist the Fee Earner with private family law cases.
2. Draft correspondence to clients via letters and emails.
3. Update clients on the status of their cases.
4. Conduct research on relevant laws, precedents, and case details.
5. Create court applications and legal aid applications.
6. Meet with clients, understand their needs and take instructions.
7. Liaise with 3rd parties, professionals and the other side.
8. Attend hearings with the Solicitor.
9. Draft witness statements, consent orders, form Es and briefs to counsel.
10. Prepare court bundles.

Experience

1. 1 years+ experience working as a Paralegal within Family law at a Law Firm
2. Law degree completed heavily desired
3. Ability to manage a fast paced and busy environment
