Our client, a well-established and reputable law firm in St Helens, is seeking an experienced Family Paralegal to join their dynamic team! Position: Family Paralegal
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Location: Office/Hybrid - flexible after successful probation period

What You'll Do:
As a Family Paralegal, you will have the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload with minimal supervision, including:

  1. Divorce and Separation: Guiding clients through the legal process with care and professionalism.
  2. Child Arrangements and Parental Disputes: Advocating for the best interests of children and families.
  3. Financial Settlements: Assisting clients in reaching fair financial agreements.
  4. Tolata Disputes: Navigating complex legal challenges with expertise.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court when necessary. Your ability to communicate effectively with clients will be key to your success!

What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  1. A minimum of 2 years PQE as a qualified Solicitor or relevant experience as a Legal Executive/Senior Paralegal.
  2. Strong caseload management skills with the ability to work independently.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. A proactive, client-focused approach to your work.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook & Word).
  6. Familiarity with the Proclaim Case Management System is a plus!
