We are seeking a Family Hub Support Worker to support our Children and Young People Service Team.
What will be expected from me?
The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of the Early Help Offer for children and their families, adopting a whole family, strengths-based approach to reduce risk, increase resilience and improve outcomes for children.
This is an exciting time to join Wakefield as we further develop our work in the Family Hubs. You will be part of a team that opens the doors of the Hub to the community, providing a welcome, support, and interventions throughout the day for children, parents, and whole families to help them become stronger, offer them new skills when they are struggling, and help our children become the best that they can be. You will facilitate groups such as the ‘Freedom Programme’ and ‘Who’s in Charge’ with colleagues from the hub and from our partner agencies, as well as groups and activities for children.
