Failure Analysis Engineer - £35-45k - Swindon


My Client specializes in sensors and connectivity solutions for various industries and is now looking for a Failure Analysis Engineer to join their growing team!


Main Duties:
  1. Failure Analysis & Evaluation: Assess electrical and mechanical characteristics of systems and components to determine failure causes.
  2. Corrective Actions & Process Improvement: Analyze failure reports, recommend solutions, and develop methods to enhance failure analysis and reduce defects.
  3. Product Returns & Documentation: Conduct product failure analysis, maintain workflow reports, and update process documentation regularly.
  4. Process Review & Implementation: Continuously evaluate and improve existing processes, implementing new ones as needed.
  5. Technical Expertise: Interpret blueprints, specifications, and engineering changes for accurate analysis and troubleshooting.

Skills and Experience Required:
  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  2. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks effectively.
  3. Strong oral, written, and presentation skills; works well with all levels of the organization and external partners.
  4. Strong planning, time management, and ethical standards to achieve goals.
  5. Skilled in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

The salary for this position will be circa £35-45k, depending on experience.
