Location: Bristol

Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits

Commutable from: Gloucester, Cardiff, Swindon, Bridgwater, Newport, Bath, Bristol and surrounding areas.

Manucomm currently have an amazing opportunity to work for a privately owned Food Manufacturer in a state-of-the-art site with excellent links to the M5 / M4 / M49.

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will be responsible for Quality and Technical issues within the factory, working alongside the Customer Technical Manager.

Factory Technical Manager Responsibilities:

1. Ensure full compliance with all food safety and legal requirements, providing and monitoring a robust system with full traceability and offering full due diligence defense.
2. Manage the site Technical Team, ensuring that best practices are shared and implemented.
3. Manage the NCR process.
4. Promote and develop best practices through continuous improvement.
5. Lead the HACCP team.
6. Manage the site's FSQMS.
7. Retain the highest level of accreditation to BRCGS, customer, and 3rd party standards.
8. Trend and analyze data to continue driving business in the agreed direction.
9. Be actively involved in the NPD process from initial concepts, through submissions, trials, and product launches.
10. Fully engage in a proactive approach to site Health and Safety.
11. Ensure compliance with the Company's Data Protection Policy at all times.

Technical Manager Skills / Experience Required:

1. Minimum of three years food manufacturing experience, ideally in a Technical Manager / Quality Manager role.
2. Level 3 Award or equivalent in Food Safety and HACCP for Food Manufacturing.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Day-based role.
