Assembly work available for one of the UK's largest suppliers of roofing products. We're hiring Assembly Workers to join one of the UK's largest roofing product suppliers! Your responsibilities will include assembling wooden roof structures using tools like nail guns, saws, and tape gauges to create high-quality roofing components.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assemble wooden roof structures according to specifications and quality standards.
  2. Operate tools and machinery such as nail guns, saws, and tape gauges safely and efficiently.
  3. Accurately measure and cut materials to ensure precise assembly.
  4. Follow technical drawings and instructions to complete assembly tasks.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  6. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.

Job Highlights:

Position: Temp to Perm
Pay Rate: £13.27 per hour


Overtime Rates:
  1. Weekdays: 1.25x
  2. Saturday: 1.5x
  3. Sunday: 2x

Shifts Available:
  1. Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM - 2:45 PM (unpaid breaks)
  2. Monday to Friday: 3PM - 11:00PM (paid breaks)

  4. Must be proficient in using a tape measure and converting measurements from millimeters to centimeters.
  5. Physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Safety-conscious mindset, with the ability to follow all safety protocols.
  7. Tools: Safety shoes and hi-vis vest are mandatory.
  8. Knowledge: Proficiency with a tape measure is essential. You'll need to pass a test during the interview on converting millimeters to centimeters.
  9. Drug Test: Conducted on your first day as part of the onboarding process.
