Factory Operative

Groomfield Recruitment are looking for 5 Factory Operatives for their client which is based in Redditch, Worcestershire.

Hours: (Apply online only) Monday to Thursday, (Apply online only) Friday

Pay: £11.44 Per hour

Job Duties:

1. Measuring and cutting wood on a busy shop-floor
2. Working within a team to ensure all KPI's are achieved
3. Using hand and power tools to construct wood to drawing specifications
4. Manual handling of wood/stock - lifting up to 25KG
5. Stock movement
6. Maintain a clean and organised workspace

Requirements:

1. Experience in a wood/joinery shop-floor would be ideal but not essential
2. Experience with hand and power tools is essential
3. Ability to lift stock regularly and comfortable with lifting up to 25KG
4. Ability to read drawings and measure correctly
5. Knowledge for operating machinery
6. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
7. Ability to work within a team
