Job Title: Factory Operatives

Location: East Harling

Days of work: Weekdays

Rate of pay: £11.50ph - £13.15ph

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30 (overtime available)

A well-established greenhouse manufacturer based in East Harling is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker to join our dynamic team. As a Warehouse Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient assembly of greenhouse components.

Personal Competencies:

• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure maximum productivity
• Previous experience with metalwork is preferred
• Comfortable working to targets and deadlines
• Ability to take responsibility for assigned tasks
• Basic IT knowledge, as our internal training is primarily e-learning
• Own transport is required due to rural location
• Ideally, a full UK driving license for occasional collections and deliveries
• Eagerness to learn, develop and contribute to the company objectives by undertaking additional tasks

Responsibilities & Duties:

1. Cutting, punching, modification and preparation of lengths of aluminium and other materials.
2. Adhering to technical drawing specifications for both cutting and punching materials ensuring checks are performed by a senior staff member.
3. Following the production plan to ensure timely completion of production runs.
4. Reporting any quality issues to a senior team member.
5. Cleaning your workstation at the end of each shift.
6. Collaborating with the team to conduct quarterly stock checks accurately and on time.
