Factory General Manager – FMCG (High Volume) Manufacturing

West Sussex

Lead a State-of-the-Art FMCG Manufacturing Site

Salary: Up to 100k, 9k car allowance, 10% employer pension contribution, discretionary bonus

As Factory General Manager, you will report directly to the Group Operations Manager and take full responsibility for site leadership, operational performance, and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities Include

1. Leadership & Culture – Drive a high-performance culture, embedding company values and fostering a positive, engaged workforce.
2. Operational Excellence – Implement and monitor key performance metrics to ensure sustained improvements in efficiency, quality, and output.
3. Capital & Growth Strategy – Define long-term investment requirements to support continued business expansion.
4. Continuous Improvement – Lead site-wide initiatives to enhance processes, reduce waste, and maximise productivity.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver strategic projects aligned with business goals.

What do I need?

We are looking for an experienced site leader with a strong background in FMCG (high-volume) manufacturing. You will be a strategic thinker, an inspirational people leader and a confident decision-maker with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams. Strong numerical and communication skills, alongside a track record of driving operational excellence, are essential.
