Job Type: Temp - Perm

Location: South Molton

We currently have 3 shift patterns available, which are all paid at 12.25 + shift premium.

1. Day shift - 12.25, no shift premium

Monday-Thursday 0800am-1645pm, Friday 0800am-1200pm

1. Rotating shift - 14.09 and 15.31 per hour inclusive of shift premium

Early: Monday - Thursday 0600am-1400pm, Friday 0600am-1100am

Lates: Monday - Thursday 1400pm-2200pm, Friday 1100am-1600pm

1. Night Shift - 16.29 per hour inclusive of shift premium

Monday - Thursday 2045pm-0600am

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Factory Assembly Operative to join our dynamic team in South Molton.

As an Assembly Operative, your primary responsibility will be to assemble high-quality actuator components for the aerospace industry. The aerospace industry demands nothing short of perfection, and it is your mission to help us deliver on that demand by using your exemplary assembly skills and dexterity. You will be working with state-of-the-art equipment, cutting-edge technology, and a team of highly dedicated professionals.

Key responsibilities:

1. Assembling actuator components according to specifications and blueprints.
2. Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
3. Conducting quality checks on finished products.
4. Troubleshooting and solving assembly issues.
5. Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient production processes.
6. Adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
7. Continuously improving assembly techniques to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Skills and qualifications:

1. Previous experience in assembly work in a factory environment is desirable.
2. Hands-on experience outside of work with hobbies such as knitting, nail painting, mechanical car assembly are all transferable skills for this position. If you have any hobbies that require a high level of dexterity - press the apply button!

5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

8. Experience in the aerospace industry is desirable but not necessary.
