You will be responsible for the first line management of the Domestic team within the department. You will ensure high quality services in a cost-effective manner, implementing best practice solutions to support continuous service improvement models: monitoring service provision; ensuring a prompt effective response to any service failures; ensuring a high quality environment is maintained for our patients, staff and visitors.
To oversee the day-to-day activity in the domestic department, ensuring that the service is delivered according to the service specification.
Allocation of existing staff and resources to ensure smooth running of the service.
A position has now become available for a Domestic Supervisor, Band 3 at Trafford Hospital Division working as part of the Estates and Facilities Team.
The job entails working within a very busy department where no day is ever the same. If you are an organised, self-motivated, pro-active, problem-solving individual then this is the post perfect for you. You will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the Domestic Service Team for the Trafford Division in liaison with the wider Clinical Teams.
The post holder must have supervisory experience with Domestic service and desirable would be experience of working within the Facilities services within the NHS.
The post is full time and does involve working weekends and a 4-week rotational shift pattern including early mornings and late shifts.
