Facilities Management Quantity Surveyor/Auditor

Location: London and the Southeast

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

A leading construction consultancy involved in some of the most high-profile construction and facilities management projects across the UK is seeking a Facilities Management Quantity Surveyor/Auditor to support on projects across London and the Southeast.

The Role

The Facilities Management QS/Auditor will join the FM consultancy team in London. This role will primarily provide cover for HM Courts & Tribunal Service (HMCTS) and London Fire Brigade (LFB) tasks, ensuring FM service quality, compliance, and value for money.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct FM service audits and compliance assessments
  • Monitor and benchmark third-party FM contractor performance
  • Provide commercial appraisals and cost analysis of FM services
  • Ensure FM contract specifications align with British Standards & best practices
  • Prepare and manage FM tender documentation and procurement processes
  • Deliver strategic FM service reviews and operational efficiency improvements
  • Provide consultancy support for minor works and FM projects
  • Prepare client reports and presentations

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience in Facilities Management, Quantity Surveying, or Auditing within FM services
  • Strong knowledge of hard and soft FM services, including building compliance and maintenance
  • Understanding of FM contracts, benchmarking, and cost control
  • Professional qualifications (e.g., RICS, IWFM, CIBSE, IOSH, NEBOSH) are desirable
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements
