Facilities Helpdesk Advisor
Job description
Our client, based in the West Midlands, is currently recruiting for a Helpdesk Facilities Officer on a permanent contract.
The position is due to start on notice on a full-time basis. The salary is circa £25,000 plus further benefits.
The ideal candidate will have experience with property repairs and be willing to have a basic DBS taken out.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Working on a busy helpdesk dealing with approximately 200 repairs requests per week
- Ensuring requests are sent to correct teams and more urgent repairs are escalated appropriately
- Providing accurate and value for money quotes of works
- Always ensuring customer service is at the forefront of communication
Experience required:
- Property repairs and maintenance
- Helpdesk support
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Strong written and communication skills
- Understanding of health & safety and statutory environmental requirements
- Knowledge of management of asbestos, fire safety and legionella
