An established industry player is seeking a Facilities Engineering Apprentice to embark on a comprehensive learning journey. This role offers hands-on experience in maintenance processes, allowing you to develop technical skills in a structured environment. You will work alongside experienced staff, participate in safety training, and engage in both reactive and planned maintenance activities. The Facilities Engineering Apprentice will embark on a comprehensive learning journey designed to develop your skills and understanding of maintenance processes within Knauf. This role will provide support to the maintenance team, allowing you to gain hands-on experience and build technical competence in a structured and supportive environment.
Annual wage: £16,363 a year
Three paid days leave for community, charitable, or voluntary commitments. Income Protection Access to a Reward & Benefits platform.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
Your training plan:
Year 1 of the Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Standard, the learner will attend four days a week within IPS Rochester workshop completing practical skills (Performing Engineering Operations) and one day a week studying the Technical Certificate. In Year 2, the Apprentice moves to day-release and will attend IPS one day a week to continue the Technical Certificate. Starting in Year 2 and continuing until completion in Year 4. The Apprentice will continue to receive regular training contact with IPS all throughout the programme.
