PT Renewables is partnered with a multinational chemical processing company on the lookout for a Multi-skilled Facilities Engineer.

The Role

This is a new role, offering you the chance to make a real impact. You’ll get the chance to maintain the building infrastructure, managing facilities contractors, and overseeing a team of apprentices.

Your role will involve troubleshooting a variety of equipment, from electrical to mechanical systems, and ensuring everything runs smoothly across the site.

Your Day-to-day

  • Ensure that the office and factory facilities, including the building infrastructure and ancillary equipment, are well-maintained and functional.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults (electrical and mechanical) on various equipment, using schematics and PC-based systems.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all facilities-related operations comply with health and safety regulations.

About you

  • Experience within Facilities Maintenance or as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Understanding of hydraulic systems, welding, fabrication, and experience with industrial doors or loading bay systems would be a plus.
  • (Ideally) HNC or equivalent qualifications (HND, Degree, etc.), in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • (Ideally) NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or BTEC Level 3.
