Facade Project Manager
Location: Ancoats, Manchester
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + car allowance (to be discussed upon interview)

Career Makers Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Facade Project Manager for a permanent role in the Manchester area, working with a leading facades company based in the heart of Ancoats. Role Overview:
As the Facade Project Manager, you will manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple facade projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standard. You will be responsible for the overall management of each project, including but not limited to, budgeting, scheduling, quality control, client communication, and the delivery of a comprehensive project programme. You’ll work closely with all internal teams and subcontractors to ensure the successful execution of each project.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of facade projects from initiation to completion.
2. Develop, review, and monitor project programmes, ensuring timelines are adhered to.
3. Produce and regularly update detailed project programmes that outline project milestones and expectations.
4. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure high standards of quality and safety are maintained.
5. Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.
6. Maintain open and clear communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
7. Address any project-related issues or delays promptly to ensure project continuity.
8. Provide accurate progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Qualities:

1. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards across projects.
2. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with clients.
3. Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
4. Strong ability to create and maintain comprehensive project programmes.
5. Proactive, results-driven, and committed to meeting project deadlines.
6. A solid understanding of budgets, cost control, and financial forecasting.
7. Ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve the best results.

Requirements:

1. A minimum of 4 years' experience as a Project Manager, with at least 5 years of experience in the facades industry.
2. Proven experience creating, managing, and updating detailed project programmes.
3. Experience managing facade projects, including knowledge of fire remediation.
4. SMSTS (Site Manager Safety Training Scheme) – Required.
5. CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) – Required.
6. Valid UK Driver’s Licence – Required.
7. Fire remediation experience is a plus.
