Job Title: Designer - Full Envelope Systems

Location: Manchester

Salary: £35,000 to £65,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)

With an expanding portfolio, we are looking for a skilled Designer to join our dynamic team in Manchester. The Role:
As a Designer, you will be responsible for producing detailed design drawings and coordinating full envelope systems for multiple projects. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders to ensure the design is accurate, compliant, and aligned with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed design drawings for full envelope systems (cladding, curtain walling, glazing, etc.) using AutoCAD or Revit
2. Coordinate designs with architects, clients, and internal teams to ensure compatibility and compliance
3. Review project specifications, drawings, and design documents to identify any issues or improvements
4. Support the preparation of technical submissions and tender documents
5. Ensure designs meet all relevant building codes, standards, and regulations
6. Collaborate with the project management and technical teams to resolve design issues
7. Maintain accurate records of designs, drawings, and project documentation
8. Attend design and coordination meetings with clients and consultants

Requirements:

1. Experience in designing full envelope systems, including cladding, glazing, and curtain walling
2. Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is a plus
3. Strong understanding of façade systems, materials, and installation methods
4. Familiarity with industry standards and UK building regulations
5. Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
6. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
7. Based in Manchester or willing to commute to the office regularly
