Hours - 39 Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm (3.30pm finish on a Friday)
Location - South Sefton Household Waste Recycling Centre, Bootle, Merseyside, L204AE
- A Welding Test will be required at the interview.
- Interviews to take place week commencing 10th February onwards.

What will you be doing?

You will have access to a 3.5ton tipper truck with all associated equipment on board to visit our sites on a day-to-day basis, which include household waste recycling facilities, waste transfer stations and material recovery facilities.

1. Workshop fabrication hot works, welding, burning and grinding
2. Fabrication works include steps, platforms and steelworks
3. Repairs on intruder fence panels, cages, containers and locks
4. Handrail installation and repair.
5. Use of workshop and hand-held power tools
6. Use of COSHH associated products
7. All site general maintenance tasks

What are we looking for?

1. Welding Certification Level 1, 2 and 3 as a minimum
2. Provide Fabrication experience
3. UKCA
4. Previous Welding / Fabrication experience
5. Permit to Work experience
6. A wealth of Health and Safety awareness
7. Full UK driving Licence

This role involves heavy manual handling and working at heights.
