Job description

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabricating and welding metal components, ensuring they meet the high standards our clients expect.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Interpret and work from engineering drawings to fabricate components accurately.
  2. Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
  3. Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
  4. Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality and strength specifications.
  5. Maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure efficiency and safety.
  6. Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and maintain high work standards.
  7. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder in an industrial or heavy engineering environment.
  2. Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
  3. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  4. Experience working with mild steel and structural steel fabrication.
  5. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  6. Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
  7. Knowledge of safe welding and fabrication practices, including handling hazardous materials.
  8. Physically fit and capable of lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces or at height.
  9. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:
  1. Primarily workshop-based with potential on-site fabrication and installation work.
  2. Standard working hours with potential for overtime as required.
  3. Adherence to strict safety procedures is mandatory.
