Fabricator Welder
Location: Trafford Park
Outside Ir35 Rate: £23.00-£24.00p/h (+ overtime rates: Saturday +£3/hour, Sunday +£5/hour)

8-10 hours days Mon-Fri (Plus Weekend Work)

6:30am/7:30am (Start) - 3-4pm (Finish)
Contract Length: Initial 3 months / Temp to Perm
Outside IR35 (Ltd Co / CIS)

Our client is a leading UK engineering and installations company, providing tailored solutions to major blue-chip manufacturers across the FMCG sector. They are seeking skilled Fabricator Welders to join their team on a contract basis for an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension.

Role Overview:

As a Fabricator Welder, you’ll be working to produce high-quality food manufacturing process equipment and plant components. This includes:

• Pipe support / Platforms / Gantries / Steelwork / Stairways etc
• 80% Tig - 20% Mig
• Stainless and Mild Steel
• Fabrication and assembly of guarding, ducting, hoppers, chutes, conveyors, and more.
• Working with stainless steel and engineering drawings to tight tolerances.
• Utilizing tools like bending machines, grinders, saws, and presses.
• TIG welding to food industry standards.
• Supporting installation work on-site when needed.

Qualifications:

• Level 3 Qualification or time-served apprenticeship in Fabrication / Sheet Metal Work or Welding.
• Valid CSCS card or Site Safety Passport (preferred).

Skills and Experience:

• Expertise in TIG welding and stainless-steel fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Self-starter attitude with a strong focus on quality.
• Flexible to travel to site when required.
