Fabric Technician,

We are looking for a technician to support our growing Structural Fabric team based in Northampton. This is a specialist team, investigating how buildings have been constructed to inform their re-use potential. You will receive training in using a variety of methods, tools and equipment to investigate the structure and strength of a building. Ideally suited to someone who is practical, has an eye for detail and accuracy, and does not want to sit behind a desk all day.

No experience needed!! All training will be provided.

What You Will Be Doing

1. Exposing building fabric using a variety of methods including diamond coring, breakers, and saw cutting
2. Measuring and drawing up the detail of exposed elements
3. Producing short reports of findings
