Role Summary:

  1. Respond to reactive works within the team
  2. Ensure maintenance tasks are completed within agreed timescales
  3. Liaise with Clients representatives with respect to maintenance & repair tasks
  4. Undertake site surveys & produce Works Requests, Method Statements & Risk Assessments for planned works
  5. Repairs floor and wall coverings
  6. Responsible for ceiling tile repairs and replacements
  7. Responsible for other building and installation works as required
  8. Accountable for lighting, general lamp changes, Filter Changes AHU’s / FCU’s and Basic Plumbing requirements
  9. Utilise PDA to complete works, key communications & updates
  10. Complete reactive, PPM jobs & projects in a timely manner
  11. Undertake minor projects works
  12. Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Regulations
  13. In addition to the above duties you will be expected to undertake all reasonable tasks as directed by the Technical Services Manager

Experience Required:

  1. Previous Fabric, Carpentry experience
  2. Experience of working in high profile work environment
  3. City & Guilds or NVQ Equivalent in carpentry
  4. Current UK driver’s license
  5. PC literate
  6. Good Customer relationship skills
  7. Understand and interpret technical drawings/instructions / processes
  8. Able to organise self to manage assigned tasks, determine material requirements
  9. Experience of H & S procedures & requirements. COSHH, Working at Heights, Risk Assessment etc
  10. Health & Safety Qualified i.e. IOSH and/or NEBOSH
  11. Must be willing to work over & above contractual hours
