Alecto Recruitment are working with a leading Commercial Building Services company based in London who also specialise in office refurbishment, who are looking to appoint a Fabric Engineer on a permanent basis.

The role:

As a Fabric Engineer, you will work across a variety of client sites in West London on conversion projects, office refurbishments and building maintenance for commercial businesses.

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer you must be happy working on installation projects as well as ensuring clients' buildings are compliant with current legislation, and will be required to carry out reactive and PPM tasks across the sites including carpentry, painting & decorating, plastering, tiling, and some basic electrical and plumbing tasks as and when required.

The Candidate:

The ideal person will be an experienced multi-skilled or fabric engineer, who is happy working field-based either on your own or as part of a small team.

Duties will include:

1. Carpentry
2. Fire Doors Installation and Maintenance
3. Electrical maintenance
4. Painting & Decorating
5. Basic plumbing
6. Ensuring Health and Safety policies are followed

Minimum Qualifications:

NVQ level 2/3 in Carpentry
Plumbing or Electrical qualifications desired
