Job description

We are looking for a Fabric Engineer to join the team of an established facilities maintenance company on a temp to perm basis, covering the Lincoln area.

Fabric Engineer (Temp to Perm)

Location: Lincoln
Pay Rate: £21ph per hour (paid Weekly via Umbrella Company)
Job Type: Temp to Perm

As a Fabric Engineer, your main duties will be:

  1. Carpentry: General woodwork, including door and frame repairs
  2. Plumbing: Basic plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks etc
  3. Painting & Decorating: Carrying out painting and decorating work, including finishing touches to ensure the highest standards.
  4. General Fabric Maintenance: Providing high-quality repairs and maintenance for various building fabric needs.

To be successful as a Fabric Engineer, you will need:

  1. Basic plumbing, painting, carpentry skills
  2. Previous experience in a similar fabric engineering or building maintenance role.
  3. A full, clean driving license (essential as the role covers a patch in the Newark, Nottingham, and Retford areas).
  4. Knowledge of health and safety standards and the ability to work to regulations.
