Self-Employed F-Gas Engineer

Job Type: Contract / Self-Employed

Salary: Competitive (Day Rate / Project-Based)

With a strong reputation and a growing portfolio of work in the F-Gas sector, they are now seeking experienced self-employed F-Gas engineers to join their team.

The Role
As an F-Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing refrigeration and air conditioning systems in a variety of commercial and industrial settings. You will play a key role in supporting the company’s sustainability goals by working with modern, energy-efficient systems that contribute to reducing carbon footprints.

Key Responsibilities

1. Carry out installation, servicing, and maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
2. Diagnose faults and perform repairs in line with F-Gas regulations.
3. Ensure compliance with F-Gas legislation and health & safety standards.
4. Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time.
5. Maintain accurate records of gas usage, system maintenance, and repairs.
6. Engage with clients professionally and ensure excellent service delivery.

Requirements

1. F-Gas Category 1 Certification (2079) is essential.
2. Proven experience working with refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
3. Strong understanding of F-Gas regulations and compliance.
4. Full UK driving license.
5. Own tools, equipment, and valid public liability insurance.
6. Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the job.
