EYFS Teaching Assistant - Nurture Young Minds in a Supportive Classroom

Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Salary: £106 per day
School Type: Primary
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon Area
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Contract

Job Description:
We're on the lookout for a dedicated and nurturing EYFS teaching assistant with a passion for supporting young children, particularly those with additional needs. Working in a vibrant early years setting, you'll play a key role in delivering engaging learning experiences and providing targeted support for children with autism and other SEND requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support pupils in EYFS with a focus on children with autism and additional needs
  2. Assist in delivering creative and structured activities tailored to individual development
  3. Provide one-to-one and small group support in and out of the classroom
  4. Collaborate with the class teacher and SEND team to implement learning strategies
  5. Help maintain a calm, safe, and encouraging learning environment
Required Experience
  1. Experience in an EYFS setting
  2. Classroom support background, ideally with children who have SEND
  3. Understanding of autism and how to adapt activities to meet varied learning needs
  4. A patient, caring, and proactive approach
