Job description

Wayman Group is currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a brilliant school in Barnet, North London from April 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with young children and making a positive impact on their educational journey. As an EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting students' social and emotional development, and fostering a love for learning. EYFS Teacher Responsibilities
  1. Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that meet the requirements of the EYFS curriculum
  2. Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social and emotional development
  3. Provide individualized support to students based on their unique needs and abilities
  4. Collaborate with other educators and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  5. Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' achievements and behaviour
  7. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring a strong partnership between home and school
EYFS Teacher Requirements
  1. QTS, EYTS, PGCE and strong academic record
  2. Bachelor's degree in Education, with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or equivalent
  3. In-depth knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum and assessment frameworks
  4. Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  6. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons
  7. A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' learning and development
  8. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school and students
