Russell Taylor Group are looking to recruit several Extrusion Operators to join our client in Llay.

The successful candidate will work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (12-hour shifts, alternating days and nights).

The Role:
  • Operating extrusion machines to produce various products.
  • Monitoring the extrusion process to ensure smooth operation, adjusting as needed.
  • Ensuring products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Performing regular checks on the machines to detect any mechanical issues and notifying maintenance teams if necessary.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Recording production data, including output rates and any machine issues.
  • Collaborating with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
  • Adhering to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
The Candidate:
  • No extrusion experience required as full training is provided.
  • Previous production experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is essential.
  • A strong willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to quality and safety standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
