Gleeson has partnered exclusively with a top international freight forwarder to recruit a highly motivated Freight Business Development professional for their expanding office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving team in a fast-moving, global industry, where you can drive growth and make a real impact.


Job Title: Freight BDM

Salary: £50-£70,000

Work Type: Remote

Locations: South/Midlands UK


Duties:
  1. Proactively identifying new sales opportunities and managing your pipeline in alignment with company strategy.
  2. Engaging with and presenting to high-level prospects, including suite executives, to showcase the benefits of innovative technology they may not yet be familiar with.
  3. Providing expert customer support, including estimates and tailored proposals.
  4. Building and maintaining strong client relationships by offering guidance, identifying new opportunities, and recommending business development solutions.
  5. Demonstrating a deep understanding of and enthusiasm for the freight product.
  6. Thriving in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
  7. Upholding high-quality service standards by establishing and enforcing organisational best practices.
