Job description:

  • Creating digital learning experiences that reflect the needs of our clients, engage their learners and save them time is at the heart of everything we do at Bundle.
  • We’re looking for an ambitious, creative and talented Instructional Designer to join our team and help us create world-class digital learning content for a range of exciting clients.
  • You’ll use your expertise in learning science to confidently consult with our customers to understand the needs of their organisation and their learners.
  • Use your expert copywriting skills to develop scripts for a range of digital learning solutions - including custom eLearning courses, videos and more.
  • Strong eLearning authoring and design skills, a keen eye for detail and quality control, and the ability to juggle multiple projects are crucial for this role.

Your day-to-day:

  • Attending client briefings and meetings (both virtually and in person) to consult with our customers and learn about their learning/audience needs and requirements.
  • Leading the instructional design for new learning campaigns and carefully crafting solutions that are tailored to the needs of our clients and their learners.
  • Developing scripts for eLearning courses, animated videos, documents, blog posts and more, and managing the script review process with clients.
  • Supporting the creative development and design process to ensure all of our solutions reflect our client’s brands and the needs of their learners.
  • Authoring digital learning in various eLearning tools (including Storyline, Rise, and Captivate), and exporting and sharing files for clients to upload to their LMS.
  • Managing the client review process to ensure our solutions perfectly meet their needs, and that any feedback is shared with freelancers supporting our projects.
  • Researching the latest trends, ideas and tools in the digital learning and animation industries.
  • Supporting other client and internal projects and marketing activities, including creating regular blog posts for our website.
  • Constantly looking for new ways to delight our clients and engage their audiences.

What you bring to the team:

  • A strong understanding of learning science and how it can be applied to various different types of digital learning experiences.
  • Confidence in communicating and consulting with clients.
  • Experience leading the Instructional Design for different types of training solutions across a range of industries.
  • Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills - with the ability to quickly produce clear and compelling written content for different audiences and tones of voice.
  • Technical expertise in Storyline 360 and other authoring tools.
  • Strong experience using Adobe Creative Suite to produce original and high-quality illustrations and graphic designs in a range of different visual styles.
  • A flexible approach to working hours when working and meeting with clients and team members based in different parts of the world (particularly in New Zealand).
  • Strong project management skills, an excellent eye for detail, and the ability to produce brilliant work across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A passion for learning and a friendly, enthusiastic and trustworthy approach when dealing with clients and colleagues.
