Job description
Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed Term contracts with an opportunity to extend by an additional 12 Months. Inzpire Ltd will always consider permanent contracts for the right candidate and these roles will be delivered under an agile employment model which may appeal to people wishing to work less than full time.

Location: Predominately working from home. There is a requirement to travel to our Lincoln HQ, MoD Corsham and wider UK Defence establishments when required. All care will be taken to manage personal availability against the customer requirement. All travel to customer sites will be paid for from your home location. There may be opportunities for overseas travel by mutual agreement.

Relevant Experience: All cyber security specialities and levels of experience will be considered. We are particularly interested in hearing from the following groups:

  1. Junior Cyber Security Consultants SFIA 2-3
  2. Cyber Security Consultants SFIA 4
  3. Accreditation and Assurance specialists SFIA 4-5
  4. Project Management (Agile) SFIA 3-4

We are interested in people with experience and interest in: NIST CSF (V2), Cyber Risk and Resilience, Information Assurance, Project Management and Agile PM. The Role

As an expanding and successful company, Inzpire Ltd continues to enhance our excellent team of specialists within the Cyber Division. Our ever-growing and evolving team are now accepting expressions of interest for a number of roles to operate within a Cyber Governance and Risk environment. These roles will support a well-established and multi-faceted team, supporting our UK Defence and security partners in generating governance, policy, process and enhancing their ethos and culture across the assurance of through life cyber security risk management.

Working as part of a supportive team will ensure that those less experienced in cyber security roles, who want to learn or develop these skills, will be mentored throughout; facilitating personal and professional development, whilst enabling them to interact and share their skills across the Team and wider Company. The right individuals will be involved in all aspects of through life risk management support, focussing on providing revised governance, policy and sharing your knowledge within an ever-changing cyber security risk landscape.

The Person

We are looking for proactive individuals with a 'can do attitude,' who are able to work within small teams, whilst being capable of working independently with minimal supervision. You will not be afraid to contribute, both to the task in hand and with suggestions and ideas for continual business improvement for Inzpire and our customers.

Whether engaging stakeholders during customer site visits, providing cyber risk and resilience guidance, or supporting the programmes delivery team in their through life cyber risk management, you will have the confidence in your abilities, knowledge and analysis, and the ability to express this to your team and our clients. You will have a comprehensive understanding of MS Office 365 applications, excellent written and oral communication skills, remain agile and adaptable and be able to travel independently to our Lincoln office and client UK Sites (all travel costs are reimbursed).

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a valued member of our team your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Support identification and assessment and tracking of cyber vulnerabilities within a socio-technical cyber landscape;
  • Support identification of appropriate security controls and recommend management strategies;
  • Provide advice and guidance on NIST Cyber Security and Risk Management Frameworks;
  • Conduct cyber security maturity assessments of organisations;
  • Build and expand stakeholder relationships;
  • Drive forward Continual Improvement, identifying and championing 'Better Practice';
  • Horizon scanning to remain abreast of the latest Cyber Threats, vulnerabilities and tactics;
  • Brief organisation and client senior leadership teams;
  • Support Inzpire's social value activities.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Previous experience across cyber security or information assurance delivery;
  • Working Knowledge of Agile processes and principles;
  • Experience of Agile Project Management;
  • Working knowledge of NIST Cyber Security and Risk Management Frameworks;
  • Awareness of Human Factors within cyber security;
  • Qualifications in Cyber or IT related subject;
  • Experience in delivering within Cyber Risk and Resilience projects;
  • Experience of working with UK Military;
  • Experience of working within large transitional programmes;
  • Experience in identifying and auditing products tailored to meet the customers' needs;
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills;
  • Current UK Security Clearance.
