Position: Export Sales Co-ordinator

Reports To: Sales Office Manager

Role: Permanent

Start: ASAP

Hours: Full time 9.00 am - 5.00 pm

Salary: £23,265.64

Location: Basildon, Essex

Responsibilities and Duties

The Export Sales Co-ordinator is responsible for maintaining and improving customer service levels for a number of offshore accounts within the group and providing office and sales support to field-based Account Managers. As an Export Sales Co-ordinator, you will manage and maintain a portfolio of accounts, support Account Managers, and assist with other accounts within your assigned team.

  • Successful delivery of account growth through both internal and external relationships.
  • Effective liaison and communication between the company's internal departments.
  • Handling enquiries related to existing/new accounts daily and communicating account requests to the relevant department.
  • Preparing shipping documentation and ensuring compliance with customer requirements.

Key Tasks:

  • Order processing and dispatching
  • Processing sample requests
  • Booking in customers via telephone/email
  • General sales and consumer calls
  • Maintaining customer scratch pad notes
  • Maintaining back orders
  • Setting up new accounts and delivery keys
  • Working from spreadsheets and emails to create orders
  • Preferred experience with Word and Excel
  • Emailing within different departments to discuss bookings and orders
  • Booking direct containers and arranging deliveries
  • Providing support for the Team Leader and other Sales Office staff
  • Working as part of a team processing paperwork for drivers
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise own workload
  • Liaising with customers and keeping them updated on their shipments

Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience in a sales department
