Export Coordinator

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum

Location: Walsall | Office Based

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5pm (45 min lunch) | Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm (30 min lunch)

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare all required export documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Ensure all exports are compliant with VAT regulations and maintain strict adherence to export regulations.
• Organise the despatch of goods and coordinate with internal teams and external freight forwarders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for freight forwarders and manage the logistics of export shipments.
• Ensure correct invoicing and handle the raising of credit notes where necessary.
• Maintain export files with the correct proof of export documentation for auditing purposes.
• Manage shipments, ensuring all compliance steps are followed.
• Liaise directly with customers regarding export logistics and provide excellent customer service.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in export operations, with a deep understanding of compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of when and how to apply for relevant export documentation.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with freight forwarders and customers.
• Ability to work autonomously and ensure all export-related processes are executed to the highest standards.
