Summary:

Casaplex is looking for an experienced Audio/Visual Project Manager to come on board and quickly take a leadership role in successfully executing technology integration projects. The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and finalization of projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Manage project development from initiation to closure.
2. Manage project activities, provide strategic direction and corrective actions to ensure milestones achieve their acceptance criteria on time and within budget.
3. Manage day-to-day client interaction and project requirements.
4. Solicit quotes from qualified subcontractors as required.
5. Maintain a project schedule to identify when each task will be performed, track and report on project milestones and provide status reports.
6. Manage project budget.
7. Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.
8. Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to support business development efforts and increase secured sales by providing excellent customer service.
10. Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout project life cycle.
11. Track and approve project-related time and expense reports on a weekly basis.
12. Effectively facilitate regular team and client meetings.
13. Clearly communicate expectations to team members.
14. Lead, coach, and motivate project team members on a daily basis.
15. Comply with and enforce standard policies and procedures.

Requirements:

1. Experience in Workspace Technology, Smart Homes, and/or Collaboration Spaces (i.e.: audio and video solutions, video walls, lighting control, automated shading, conference rooms, home theaters, etc.)
2. PMI Certifications (PMP), preferred but not required.
3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and strong presentation skills.
4. Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive project plan based on PMI standards.
5. Ability to organize and moderate in person project meetings as well as audio/video conferences with project stakeholders on a regular basis.
6. Strong computer skills with MS Office suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Google suite (Google Drive, Calendar, etc.).
7. Experience with Enterprise software and tools related to Project Management and resource scheduling and tracking.
8. Able to operate in a highly collaborative environment, both independently and integrated into large teams.
9. Able to quickly learn to use our ERP system to facilitate management of new and existing projects.
10. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
11. Self-sufficient, self-motivated, organized, reliable and punctual.
12. Self-starter with ability to maximize efforts daily, without daily supervision.
13. Professional demeanor and good people skills.
14. Bachelor's Degree or specialized training & certifications in Project Management.
15. 5 years project management experience in audiovisual, videoconferencing or closely related telecommunications or IT fields is preferred. Experience in other fields will also be considered.
16. 10 years overall experience in leadership, site supervision, managing technical resources and technology roll-outs.
