Job Description:

Are you someone who has previous HR and/or payroll experience? We’re looking for an experienced professional to join our dynamic team, providing expert advice and support in managing employee benefits, tax codes, and more. The ideal candidate for this role is willing to go the extra mile and has an eye for detail, making sure that any query is answered to the best of your ability.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide advice on tax codes, holiday accrual, sickness, etc.
  2. Provide advice to line managers (or staff) on company policy.
  3. Basic pension advice and guidance.
  4. Keep up-to-date records of employees’ personal data to ensure all employees are paid correctly and on time, including pension data and contributions.
  5. Make necessary updates in line with legislation, payroll, pension, and system procedures to deliver and support a high level of service.
  6. Build and support relationships with employee pension providers and the company’s internal pension teams, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  7. Contribute to and deliver on projects and activities set by the line manager to the highest standards.
Requirements:
  1. Experience working in payroll.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook.
  3. Experience using Sage, Workday, or ResourceLink.
  4. Understanding of payroll policies.
  5. Customer service experience.
  6. Strong attention to detail.
  7. Minimum of 5 GCSEs (A*-C, 9-4).
