Qualifications and Requirements:
- CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent. Advanced Diploma preferred but not essential.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Planner, providing comprehensive financial planning services to clients both face to face and remotely.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to assess complex financial information and work with our team to deliver suitable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective client relationships.
- Proficiency in cashflow planning software, investment platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively, to manage multiple client relationships, and to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- To assist our financial planning team in looking after our clients and delivering an exemplary service at all times.
- To build and maintain strong client relationships based on trust and professionalism.
- To help our clients articulate their goals and objectives, mapping a plan towards achieving these.
- To monitor and review our clients' financial plans regularly, taking into account changes in circumstances and market conditions, and to recommend appropriate adjustments where required.
- To actively participate in team meetings, training sessions, and collaborative initiatives to contribute to the growth and success of the team.
- To provide expert advice on appropriate investments, retirement planning, tax efficiencies, insurance, estate planning, and other relevant financial matters.
- To provide coaching and education to our clients, particularly during turbulent times.
- To collaborate with our team to formulate personalised financial recommendations and to present them in a clear and understandable manner.
- To stay up to date with changes in the sector, regulation, and best practices in financial planning, continually enhancing your knowledge and skills.
