Experienced Character Artist

We are seeking an experienced Character Artist who can provide us with examples of beautifully constructed characters, clean geometry, texture, and material work. You will have a number of years’ experience as a Character Artist in the industry with a published game to your name.

As part of our Character Art team, you will be asked to utilize your wealth of experience in conceptualizing, modeling, and texturing to tell stories through beautifully crafted characters.

Responsibilities:

• Showcase creative flair while displaying core fundamentals such as solid topology, UVs, and texturing.
• Possess a deep understanding and knowledge in Maya and Zbrush, plus a proven foundation in Photoshop.
• Display a folio with a wide range of examples demonstrating flexibility and a good eye for form, shape, composition, and fun.
• Have a good working knowledge of Unreal 4/5, and experience using Marvelous Designer and/or scan development pipelines is beneficial.
• Experience with facial blendshapes and wrinkle maps.
• Good knowledge of anatomy.
• Provide examples of hard surface work.
• Include your CV, a cover letter, and a link to your website or portfolio for assessment of your art abilities.
