Key Responsibilities:
Delivering a cost-effective, accurate, and professional payroll service to all clients
Ensuring payrolls are processed efficiently, accurately, and on time
Managing, mentoring, and developing the payroll team
Identifying business growth opportunities and working on RFI's & RFP's
Keeping up to date with legislative changes and ensuring compliance
Evaluating and improving payroll processes to drive efficiency
Communicating effectively with clients and internal teams to resolve queries
Developing and monitoring KPI performance
Identifying cost savings and increasing profitability
Leading various payroll and wider Global Mobility Services (GMS) projects
Strategic resource and financial planning
Overseeing portfolio management including compliance, risk, and client escalations
Managing BACS sign-off and vendor/supplier relationships
Recruiting and developing talent within the payroll function
What We're Looking For:
Proven team management and leadership skills
Preferably CIPP qualified
Experience with STAR Payroll Professional System (advantageous)
Previous experience in expat and modified payroll (preferred)
Excellent communication, organisational and negotiation skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
Forward-thinking and proactive approach to identifying risks and issues
Confident, approachable, and able to lead a team through periods of change
