Exciting Executive Support Opportunity!

Location: Hull Area
Contract Type: Temporary (3 months)
Hourly Rate: £15.00 - £18.00
Start Date: ASAP

Are you an organised and proactive individual eager to dive into an exciting executive support role? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you! Our public sector client is gearing up for a new project launch and is looking for a dedicated Executive Support Officer to join their vibrant team. This role not only allows you to contribute to something special but also offers the potential for a permanent position after the contract ends.

What You'll Do:

As an Executive Support Officer, you will be the backbone of the leadership team, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Diary Management: organise complex schedules, prioritise workloads, and handle paperwork to keep the Executive team on track.
  2. Meeting Support: Act as Meeting Secretary by preparing documents, taking minutes, and following up on action items to ensure effective meetings.
  3. Information Management: Condense and filter communications, saving valuable time for the Directors.
  4. Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for internal teams and external partners, ensuring seamless communication.
  5. Office Management: Oversee the setup of the office and daily operations to create a welcoming workplace.
  6. Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate internal and external events, making them memorable and efficient.
  7. Travel Arrangements: Book travel, hotels, and conferences with ease.
What We're Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following essential qualities:

  1. Proven experience as a PA/EA, supporting senior-level executives.
  2. Previous public sector experience is desirable but not essential.
  3. Excellent diary management skills and a commitment to confidentiality.
  4. Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
  5. A flexible attitude that allows for quick changes in focus.
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an eye for detail.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  8. Experience in producing accurate, timely meeting minutes.
