Job Title: Executive/Personal Assistant to the Managing Director (maternity cover)

Company Description
Montgomeryshire Homes is a house building company operating in the Welshpool area. We are seeking an Executive/Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director.
This role would be based from our offices in Welshpool and offers a diverse range of responsibilities within a fast-paced environment.
Role Description
- Assisting the directors with their day-to-day workloads, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and handling administrative tasks.
- Maintaining up-to-date health and safety files.
- Managing contractors' insurance policies, ensuring they are current and valid.
- Collaborating in the creation and updating of risk and method statements.
- Assisting in the procurement of materials and contractors through tender processes and placing orders under the guidance of the directors.
- Handling phone enquiries from potential home buyers and providing relevant information.
- Coordinating and managing snagging reports, liaising with contractors to resolve any issues promptly.
- Handling phone enquiries and bookings for our sister company, a Readymix concrete business.
- Assisting with general office tasks and providing support across various projects as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant, preferably in a construction or related industry (but not essential).
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and email management tools.
- Familiarity with Xero or similar accounting software is advantageous but not essential.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
- A valid driver's license and access to transportation may be required for occasional local travel or errands.
