Join us, we’re an Investors in People Silver Standard Company
At Ground Control we have a temporary fixed term role with an immediate start for a dedicated and proactive Executive Personal Assistant (EPA) to support our Managing Director (MD) and senior leadership team. This role requires high-level organisational and administrative skills to optimise schedules, manage communication channels and facilitate the smooth running of daily operations. The EPA will be the first point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders and play a crucial role in coordinating key business activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calendar and Schedule Management: Efficiently manage calendars, organise appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Communication Management: Draft, edit, and prepare correspondence, emails, reports, agendas, and minutes for executive review.
- Board Meeting Coordination: Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items for board and leadership meetings.
- Document Preparation: Create and manage documents and presentations for various meetings and events.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a liaison between our MD and internal/external stakeholders, fostering positive relationships.
- Special Projects & Event Management: Assist in organizing company events, conferences, and other key projects as needed.
- Expense & Compliance Management: Track expenses and ensure compliance with organisational policies.
This is a hybrid role between home and the office. We have offices in Billericay, Essex and Aldgate in London so you will need to be flexible between the 3 locations depending on the needs of our MD at the time.
Please note that this role has an immediate start.
The person:
This is a great role for an experienced Executive Assistant to work within an environmentally focused forward-thinking business. Experience working with board level Directors across the Construction, Facilities or Environmental sectors would be ideal but is not essential.

- Strong organisational abilities with the capability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Skilled in tech tools and office software, with a talent for working independently.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
- Familiarity with board-level administration and corporate governance.
For us it is as much about the person as it is about your technical skills so we are also looking for someone who is:
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to work autonomously.
- Professional, approachable and able to handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Resilient and adaptable to changing priorities, at short notice that may be out of your control.
