About Our Client

A well known Financial Services Firm that operates across the Mortgages, Savings/Current Accounts and Insurance sectors. A Tier 1 organisation with 3000 - 5000 employees and over £60 Billion in Assets.

Job Description

Responsibilities for the Executive Compensation Lead will include:

  1. Reporting into the Head of Reward and supporting the development and implementation of an effective executive reward strategy with the aim of attracting, retaining and engaging the talent and capability required to deliver the business strategy.
  2. Using deep external insight and knowledge of the market and regulation to improve processes.
  3. Ensure all executive reward design and processes comply with the legislative and regulatory requirements and best practice for a Tier 1 FS Organisation.
  4. Planning and delivering the annual reward cycle for the executive population.
  5. Lead the delivery of accurate and timely regulatory reporting submissions for the Society.
  6. Provide insight, guidance and recommendations to the Executive Team on a wide range of reward topics.
  7. Produce papers for the Remuneration Committee, liaising with external BIG 4 RemCo advisors where relevant.
  8. Partner with the broader Reward team in relation to governance and risk matters for the Executive Team.
  9. Collaborate with other functions where required to support the delivery of reward programmes.
  10. Pro-actively build capability within the People Division, line managers and Senior Leadership.
  11. Manage all third-party suppliers in line with the Group's supplier relationship management standards.
  12. Manage transformation and change activity, harness innovation to create a high performing and sustainable business.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for this role will either be looking for their next in-house career move perhaps from a no2 to no1 role in executive compensation or be at 'SM' level within an Advisory firm's Exec Comp team and looking to make a move in-house.

  • CIPD or equivalent relevant experience would be ideal. Additionally ATT/ACCA or wider finance and accounting qualifications.
  • Essentially be someone with Tier 1 FS firm expertise.
  • Experience with the Reward side of recruiting for senior level/executive roles.
  • Strong understanding of HR disciplines including, not exclusive to, executive recruitment, organisational effectiveness, resourcing, talent, and inclusion.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Analytical with ability to produce and interpret MI.
