Job Overview: As the Head Chef, you will work with the founder over the next months to develop the menu and train the staff coming in. We are open to an equity package as well as salary.
Responsibilities:
Create the menu with the founder.
Oversee all aspects of food preparation.
Supervise and train kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques and safety procedures.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
Collaborate with management to develop new recipes.
Be involved regarding kitchen design/build out.
Involved in marketing content.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Head/Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent culinary skills with a creative approach to menu planning.
Proficient in all aspects of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
