Job description

Our client is hiring an Executive Assistant & HR Generalist. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, supporting both executive leadership and human resources functions.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the HRIS system and prepare bi-weekly payroll submissions
  • Act as the primary liaison with the payroll vendor to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Manage the applicant tracking system, partner with hiring managers to select top talent, and facilitate seamless onboarding for new hires
  • Oversee employee exit processes, including final pay, system access removal, and severance benefits when applicable
  • Lead the annual open enrollment process and assist employees with understanding and applying for benefits and statutory leaves of absence
  • Organize and track employee training programs, ensuring deadlines are communicated and met
  • Maintain the compensation system and work with managers to ensure timely performance reviews
  • Assist the CEO with meeting preparation, agendas, and strategic projects
  • Plan and execute meetings, events, and travel for the Board of Directors
  • Organize company recognition and social events to foster a positive work culture
  • Update the Employee Handbook and ensure all company policies are consistently followed
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional HR training or certifications preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar executive support and HR role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other HR or payroll software
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a tactful and professional approach
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate information and make informed decisions
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds
  • Comfortable working with computers and communicating over the phone and in person
