EA to UHNW CEO & Entrepreneur

Marcilly Recruitment is currently working on a highly desirable EA role supporting an UHNW CEO & Founder in the luxury hospitality space. You will work as part of a support team, including a Chief of Staff, Senior EA and Private PA, to ensure the CEO's schedule, business interests and projects run smoothly, both in the business and private family office.This EA will support the whole team and also report directly to the principal.

The principal has founded and built a hugely successful portfolio in the luxury sector, making him a leading figure in the industry. The CEO has exacting standards and is extremely driven, that is why he has been so successful and doesn’t stop, with a hugely intense diary and international travel schedule. He is also a family man who does appreciate hard work and understands flexibility goes both ways. There will need to be a lot of flexibility out of hours due to extensive travel and the scale of the role.

They are looking for an extremely career hungry, high-calibre individual who is able to efficiently manage the workload and expectations of the CEO. They are looking for someone with at least 3/4+ years of experience as an EA or PA in a business or private setting at c-suite / UHNW level. They need someone who is capable of working in a very fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment who can deal with high-pressure, strict deadlines and adapt to an ever-changing workload. You will have amazing exposure across his portfolio, and it is a chance to grow and get stuck in. They want someone who will be happy working in a team environment at a very high level in a very demanding role.

Salary: £60K-£75K – depending on experience

Benefits: bonus; 25 days holiday; pension; medical; life insurance; brand discounts; cycle to work scheme; travel loan

Hours: 09:00 – 18:00 – flexibility is required, mostly when they are travelling and based in different time zones

Location: creative offices in central London + some homeworking up to 1-2 days a week depending on what is going on

Start date: happy to wait a notice period for the right candidate

The client is seeking a hugely personable Executive Assistant because strong relationship management skills are hugely important in this role. You are an extension of your principal, liaising with lots of VIPs, leading industry figures, UHNWs and internal employees. Discretion is paramount as you will be privy to a lot of confidential information.

A solid CV is a must – they will only look at Executive Assistants who have demonstrated longevity in their roles. The successful EA candidate must be driven and willing to put in the hard work when necessary.

Lastly, you must have a good sense of humour and be willing to have a laugh along the way.

Executive Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Extremely high-level diary management.
  • Acting as a gatekeeper for the CEO and being mindful of his time.
  • Multiple inbox management
  • Extensive travel management by both private charter and commercial
  • Managing a complex set of engagements
  • High volume of internal and external meeting coordination
  • Facilitating the seamless running of every day – greeting guests, preparing meeting rooms, timekeeping etc
  • Reacting swiftly and efficiently to short notice changes
  • Having the tenacity to ensure tasks and projects are seen through to completion
  • Developing a good understanding of business priorities
  • Proactively assisting with document creation,maintenance and research
  • Preparing and collating information for board packs using PowerPoint
  • Liaising both internally and externally with board members, key stakeholders and clients
  • Co-ordinating travel, hotels, visa etc
  • As with this type of role, ad hoc tasks and projects as required

Executive Assistant Criteria:

  • Ideally 3-4years of experience in a high-levelEA / PA role
  • Greatcommercial awareness
  • Be able to demonstrate upmost professionalism and be comfortable representing the business to theirnetwork, which includes regularly liaising with high-status guests and HNWIs’
  • First-rate written and verbal English, comfortable with drafting professional correspondence
  • Able to troubleshoot issues before they become problematic, and proactively anticipate priorities
  • ExcellentMS Outlook/Word/PowerPoint/SharePointskills
  • Highly organised, efficient and systematic
  • Ability to exercise discretion around sensitive and business issues
  • Supreme efficiency and attention to detail with the ability to adeptly multi-task
  • Patience, tenacity and flexibility, with a calm and "unflappable" nature
  • Self-initiative solution driven and able to think quickly on your feet
  • "No task too small" attitude, happy to get stuck in and get things done
  • Ability to build positive working relationships and work well with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
