Executive Assistant - Hybrid (1-2 days per week in the office) - Surrey - £55,000 - £60,000 plus package
My client, a global organisation with offices spread across multiple continents, is looking to hire an Executive Assistant to support the CHRO. This is a fantastic opportunity to assist a key member of the senior leadership team in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
Role Overview
As the Executive Assistant to the CHRO, you will be the go-to person for all scheduling, coordination, and communication. You'll manage a busy calendar across multiple time zones, liaise with senior stakeholders, and ensure the CHRO has the support needed to drive strategic HR initiatives company-wide. You'll bring calm organisation to a constantly changing schedule, anticipate challenges before they arise, and remain flexible enough to pivot at short notice.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and maintain a dynamic calendar for the CHRO, balancing priorities and managing multiple time zones (UK and Atlanta especially).
- Coordinate complex travel itineraries, both domestic and international, ensuring smooth, cost-effective arrangements.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal teams, senior leaders, and external partners, representing the CHRO's office with professionalism.
- Build strong working relationships across the business, fostering trust and collaboration.
- Schedule and prepare for senior-level and cross-functional meetings, including agendas, materials, and follow-up actions.
- Provide minute-taking where needed, ensure distribution of outcomes, and track action items to completion.
- Handle sensitive HR data and confidential information, maintaining a high level of discretion and adhering to privacy regulations.
- Uphold the highest standards of trust and reliability within a demanding environment.
- Thrive in a fast-paced setting, pivoting quickly to handle last-minute changes or urgent priorities.
- Stay calm under pressure, offering flexible solutions and ensuring the CHRO remains well-supported at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrable background in an EA role supporting senior leaders (C-level or equivalent), ideally within HR or SLT teams.
- Track record of juggling multiple projects and deadlines, bringing order and structure to a demanding schedule.
- Confident, articulate written and verbal communicator, comfortable engaging stakeholders from all levels and backgrounds.
- Experience coordinating across international offices, particularly the US/UK, is highly advantageous.
- Trusted to handle confidential information with care, understanding the sensitive nature of HR activities.
- Proven ability to pivot plans swiftly and remain effective under shifting priorities.
- Personable approach, adept at forming strong professional relationships within and beyond the organisation.
