A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established, progressive, and well-equipped practice in Gloucester. This role is ideal for a motivated team player looking to work in an environment that is constantly evolving and striving for excellence.

  • Recently redeveloped to provide state-of-the-art facilities
  • RCVS PSS accredited Animal Hospital with a busy and varied caseload
  • Strong team of experienced nurses, including those with post-qualification certificates
  • Schedule 3 procedures actively encouraged, with full support for additional training

The Candidate:

  • This role is perfect for a conscientious and hardworking RVN who:
  • Thrives in a busy hospital environment and enjoys a varied caseload
  • Is passionate about delivering high standards of veterinary care
  • Has a strong interest in anaesthesia/surgery (though other interests are welcomed)
  • Would like to mentor student nurses (clinical coaching experience is a bonus but not essential—training can be provided)

The Role:

  • Full-time or part-time options available
  • Flexible rota with a mix of early and late shifts
  • No out-of-hours (OOH) shifts (Dedicated night team in place, with optional OOH holiday cover if desired)
  • Salary: Up to £32,000 p/a FTE - reflective of skills and experience
  • £600 CPD budget & paid CPD days (certificates and further qualifications encouraged)
  • RCVS, VDS & BVNA memberships fully funded
